What's Your Story ?

It can be pretty tough being the parent/guardian of a child that is suffering from emotional wellbeing difficulties or mental health problems. They often won't want to tell you, and may be reluctant to discuss their challenges if you find out. What are the signs to watch out for? How should you react when you have concerns about their health or wellbeing?

These pages allow parents/guardians to share their stories. Reading about the experiences of other parents/guardians in similar circumstances can be incredibly rewarding, and may provide some useful ideas on useful behaviours and coping strategies. So please share your story.

It's also very useful to share ideas and suggestions derived from you own experiences. What have you found that worked well? What didn't work well? Please share your ideas and suggestions.
