I think that school counsellors play a vital role in helping children and teenagers cope with a wide variety of pressures and emotional problems. The Coalition Government is clear that it has a responsibility to support the wellbeing of every child and support them in achieving their full potential. School staff are building an understanding of mental health promotion and what role they can play in supporting emotional health and wellbeing. |
